Bought a bike in a box as a Christmas present? Unsure how to assemble it? Not got the tools or the time? Why not have it professionally assembled for peace of mind?
This service will cost you from £ 25 – £ 45 depending on the time taken – which is usually determined by the quality of the bike. In our experience the better quality the bike the less time taken setting up the gears, brakes, etc. to an acceptable standard.
Simply bring the box to us and I guarantee that you will have the bike in a rideable condition for Christmas Eve. I can even arrange to have it sent direct to Father Christmas if required.
CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR
It’s very nearly that time of year again and I have had to give some thought as to what our opening hours are going to be over the festive period. Listed below are provisional dates and times – these may be tweaked slightly over the next few weeks, but generally the dates and times should be about the same. Obviously, if you would like to make extremely large purchases, appointments can be made!

Tony Butterworth Cycles has a long established reputation for customer service and quality cycles and components. A cycle shop has operated from our present location for more 50 years – Bert Beech ran it from goodness knows when to 1964, Tony Butterworth then ran the shop for nearly forty years until 2001 and the present owner, Chris (Max) Faulkner intends to be around for many more years! We are trying to move with the times, as this long overdue step into the world wide web shows!! – it’s been a long time coming. Hopefully you, our customers and potential customers, will find it useful.
